TECHNICAL ASSISTANT / PURCHASER

Main Responsibilities:

  • Involved in daily purchasing activities; plan and execute purchases of spare parts and supplies for the vessels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to secure cost-effective pricing and ensure timely delivery of goods to the vessel.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to assess product specification and ensure all purchases meet the required standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of PO and timely processing of invoices.
  • Periodically update the status surveys and certificates for all vessels.

Requirements:

  • Min 2 years of working experience as Purchaser or Purchasing Role for Ship Management companies.
  • Detail oriented, good analytical skills and able to multi-task
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiently in Microsoft Office
