Technical Assistant/ Purchaser
Main Responsibilities:
- Involved in daily purchasing activities; plan and execute purchases of spare parts and supplies for vessels.
- Select the most competitive source and negotiate for the best deal.
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of purchase orders to suppliers and process invoices.
- Expedited orders to ensure timely delivery and forwarding to all the ships.
- Update periodically the status of the surveys and certificates for all ships.
Requirements:
- Min 2 years of working experience in Purchasing for Ship Management Companies
- Detail-oriented, good analytical skills and able to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Computer Literate.
