Technical Assistant/ Purchaser

Main Responsibilities:

  • Involved in daily purchasing activities; plan and execute purchases of spare parts and supplies for vessels.
  • Select the most competitive source and negotiate for the best deal.
  • Assist in the preparation and issuance of purchase orders to suppliers and process invoices.
  • Expedited orders to ensure timely delivery and forwarding to all the ships.
  • Update periodically the status of the surveys and certificates for all ships.

Requirements:

  • Min 2 years of working experience in Purchasing for Ship Management Companies
  • Detail-oriented, good analytical skills and able to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Computer Literate.
